Raw Blues is a band that hails from Nevada City California. They play as a trio, quartet, or quintet, and present their music either acoustically or fully electric depending on the venue. They play blues based American roots music, with many original songs, while also covering favorite traditional songs. Their new record (In the Mother Lode) is a celebration of their home in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, and it is comprised of all original songs ranging from finger picking delta blues to rollicking electric train songs.
