Tríptico: The Colors of Latin America A Mother’s Day Concert at Valhalla Boathouse

Tríptico: The Colors of Latin America A Mother’s Day Concert at Valhalla Boathouse
May 10, 2026 | Show 3:00pm | Doors open at 2:30pm

Celebrate Mother’s Day with an unforgettable evening of music on the shores of Lake Tahoe, as Tríptico brings their vibrant and expressive program, The Colors of Latin America, to the historic Valhalla Boathouse.

Tríptico -featuring harp, violin, and bandoneón-is a uniquely captivating ensemble that blends classical refinement with the passion and rhythmic vitality of Latin American traditions. Their program invites audiences on a rich musical journey, from the soulful intensity of Argentine tango to evocative and colorful works inspired by landscapes, cultures, and stories across Latin America.

The trio’s story began nearly a decade ago with a chance connection between violinist Vanessa Porter and bandoneonist Alejandro Pinzón. What started as a collaboration quickly sparked a shared artistic vision-one that expanded when harpist Marina Roznitovsky Oster joined the ensemble, bringing a distinctive voice to a rarely heard instrumental combination. The result is a sound world that is at once intimate, expressive, and strikingly original.

After an initial period of performances and creative exploration, the group reunited in 2024 to fully realize their long-held vision. Tríptico was officially born, along with their debut project, The Colors of Latin America, a program that reflects both their individual artistry and their shared passion for storytelling through music.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Tahoe, this special Mother’s Day performance offers a perfect opportunity to celebrate with loved ones. Audiences can expect an evening of warmth, virtuosity, and musical color-an experience that is both deeply moving and joyfully engaging.
